Tomorrow Dave will start his new job. He left me in Utah and traveled to Phoenix today. He will stay with family and friends until he finds us a place. Then we will make the journey (me and 2 kids alone!) to meet up with him. We have had a very busy time saying goodbye (lots of parties) to many friends and family in Utah. We have a lot more packing to do (oh, yeah, that's me again . . .)

As Dave left, (me, with 2 screaming kids) I realized that although this is what we've wanted for so long, it is also scary. I don't know what it's like to be a full time SAHM. I'm not sure I have the patience to do it well. Dave is nervous about working full time . . . in a CAREER. And we are definitely unsure of what to expect from Arizona. The future is waiting for us to come and make a life full of memories and it is kind of exciting (and a little bit scary). Anyone who knows me, knows that when I get to something NEW in my life I ask WAY too many questions and have concerns that no one in their right mind would ever think of. But that is just my way to trying to prepare myself for a big change. Big change, here we come!
(p.s. Although nap time as a single parent was a complete failure, bedtime went on without a single tear . . . maybe not taking naps has it's advantages!)
In other news, we laid Jackson's most favorite and prized possession to rest after an unfortunate incident with a car backing out of the drive way. Luckily, no one was riding it. Jackson was devastated (and I was more attached to it than a mother should be) and I immediately found a new bike (the only used one advertised in Utah AND Arizona) to replace it. It has been a fantastic summer with that bike and it will be missed!

Wow Reading this post does make me nervous for you and sad for us! So many changes, but they are GREAT changes. Hallie looks DARLING in the BYU outfit. I think I just have to buy a couple for my girls. And Jackson was such a good little rider. He will be SO happy to get his new bike:)
You'll do really well in your new situation, because that is what you always do. You are an amazing woman, and mother. There may be some difficult times, but together, your family will thrive. Love the pictures of the kids!
Hallie looks like a darling cheerleader! I'm glad that you found another bike. As to the fears of moving, it will take some time to get adjusted but you will do just fine. You always do because you are great at making friends.
