Baby Driver

These two are the best of friends and get to play outside in our yard almost everyday!  They are only 4 days apart and it is so fun to watch them interact!

Visions of Summer

I got my pass to Thanksgiving point, so if you have one, let me know and we can play everyday this summer (if it ever warms up!)

Jackson was invited to Corey's birthday party. We love this family!  Their mom babysits Jackson a couple days a week while I work.  Despite being 4 years younger than the birthday boy, Jackson and he have a special brother-like relationship.  We were thrilled to celebrate with him.  Doesn't Jackson look like the boy on the right's little brother more than OUR son?

His first horse ride.  He never let go of me, but cried when he had to get off, so I guess he liked it.

Milking a cow.
I can't wait to create many more memories here this summer!

Weddings Galore

We had a beautiful wedding for Dave's cousin at La Caille in Salt Lake.  The food there is divine and we loved going out for this wedding.

Can you believe these are brothers?  This is my father-in-law with his brothers (the one on the left performed the marriage!)

The next weekend, Dave graciously took a teething-crying-not sleeping-onery Jackson for 3 days so I could go to my freshman-year-roommate's wedding.   She made it so fun for all 16 of her friends who came from many different areas to be there for her.  We got to attend the wedding dinner, have a fun sleepover in a mansion house, eat a specially prepared breakfast, enjoy the sealing by her Grandfather, have a catered meal at her home and then enjoy the reception.  We even got to sleep at the Bride's home afterward (although she wouldn't be talked into staying for another girls night with us!)

I can't believe our 6-packs of roommates got together TWICE within a year!  I love these girls!

Such a beautiful bride!

Counting

He CAN get all the way to 10 (if we say seven) SO cute!

Mundane Monday

Went out this Monday (MAY 23!) to run a million and one errands and was shocked to find THIS!

My sweet husband scraping the car with a broom (our scraper has been stored for the year)

We had no warm clothes, but managed to dig up a pair of gloves.

I was so cold and wet after a couple hours of running errands, not to mention SCARY driving conditions.  The snow all fell off the top of my car on to the windshield and the wipers stopped working because the snow was too heavy.  I couldn't see a THING, but blindly pulled off and hand scraped it off.  SUMMER COME SOON!

I want to be a missionary now!

This little boy is growing up so quickly!  When he tried on his new birthday suit early, it felt like he grew up 18 years in moments!  He looks so studly!

Just posing . . .

with a smile!

I realized that I am just getting in to the fun stage where your child embarrasses you by the things they say.  So here is the first of many funnies from my child.

An unknown member of the family passed gas while Jackson was nearby, and he ran up to this person pointing and yelling "TOOT!  TOOT!"  Of course, the said person didn't want to be embarrassed so they stated "NO, I didn't!"  Quizzically, Jackson thought for a moment before pointing and yelling "POOP! POOP!"

ABC gospel book

Here is my completed project I've been wanting to do for a while.  A competition in digital scrapping world (Queen of Scrap) inspired me to start and finish it finally.  Check it out here!

And I was worried!

Four months ago, I was worried that Jackson might not have enough understandable words. I told the doctor my fear and she suggested we get his hearing checked which we did and he passed with flying colors. Today, he narrates our entire day. He is constantly talking and pointing things out to us. Granted, he still has many words we can't understand, but he has a LARGE vocabulary and is finally starting to use a few words together. He loves books that have real life items to point out. He could care less for story books or cartoon books.
