Goin' Fishin'
I have decided to run for a position in the Presidency of the spouses association at BYU (basically a wives' club). I really enjoy all the activities and events that being a member of the association has provided and would love the opportunity to make a difference in the group next year. So, here is where you come in. I know what I perceive as my own strengths and weaknesses, but I would love to hear an outsiders point of view on what would make me a good leader (and if you have weaknesses you'd like to point out, I could handle that, too . . .) So I'm fishing for your comments. I have to come up with the reasons I am qualified by Friday night, so I would love your input ASAP. Thanks for being my blog friends :) love you all :)

I can sum up your biggest weakness in one word...Dave.
more like fishing for compliments, not comments! ha ha
well, i think you are awesome because you are very friendly, a great conversationalist, willing to do fun things, eager to get to know and include others etc.
i think you will get hired for the job!
Well your little club would never be bored because you would always have something planned! I think you are a master organizer!
You would be perfect!! What position are you running for? Now I have to actually come out and vote for you. I've been so bad this year and haven't gone to any activities!! I guess being big and pregnant does that to ya. Anyway, I think you have the perfect personality to help run this group of girls. You are so outgoing and energetic and seem like you are always having fun and excited about life. Good luck! I hope you win ;)
Thanks Jamie! I just took them myself at our house. Studio pictures are too expensive, so we have our own little photo shoots at home. It's way fun!
Mark doesn't have a job lined up yet, but he has an interview today and we're really hopeful for this one! It would sure take a lot of stress with the baby coming. Wish us luck!
I agree with everything that's been said(you're friendly, funny, organized), but you also seem to really care about the girls in the organization, and the organization itself. You've supported many, many activities, and have even planned some of your own. I think you would be great in this position.
YAY Jamie! Go for it!
I know that you have a great sense of humor, can work under pressure, are very organized and detailed. You are also very compassionate and look for strengths in others. You aren't afraid to take risks and have a hunger for knowledge. I could go on and on.
