Jamie: recovering from having a baby, pushed the stroller uphill, didn't sleep much 2 nights before, Washed my ipod and ruined it, shoes are too old
Dave: no time to workout because too much studying to do (and a wife who takes all my free time), Sick for the past month and counting, no ipod, pushed and manuvered the stroller downhill :)
Jackson: couldn't wake up for the race, no running shoes, couldn't breath through my nose, forced to be held back with my parents, cold bald head . . .
Now for the results: Jackson's head crossed the finish line first, followed by mom racing to catch the stroller as Dave let go passing out over the line (not really).
Jackson promptly woke up for the first time all morning to bask in the glory of beating his parents, but once the overall results were announced, he started crying because he didn't win anything. I guess you have to teach them early to be ok with failure . . .
Ryan did much better, and MaryAnn's cheering was incredible! Dayton has alot to be proud of!

Jamie,
The race was sponsored by the School of Accountancy and run by Beta Alph Psi. Man, get it right.
P.S. I love your blog. It is fun to watch everything.
