After months and months (9 to be exact) of grueling practice Jackson has FINALLY learned to dunk. This is one of the first things I have done over and over with him that he repeated for the first time. I am hoping clapping, waving, talking and using the toliet are soon to follow . . . It's about time!
Speaking of TIME, I finished the 1/2 marathon in 5 minutes under my goal. If you are interested, here is the story. I was told the race started at 8:10, so I showed up at 7:59 so as to not freeze before the race. As I get out of the car I hear them announce the half marathon starts in one minute. In a panic, I run to the pack and start asking around if it is the half or the 5K. Sure enough, the cannon goes off and my race is off. From the back of the pack, minutes after the cannon goes off I finally hit the starting line. It was kind of nice to pass people for the first 6-7 miles. After that, I was just going back and forth with a few people. I was afraid of hitting a major wall like in the marathon, but never really did. A 1/2 marathon is much more fun than a full! It was lightly snowing most of the way, but I was dressed warmly so I didn't notice it too much. I got a nice massage after the race. I found out that I got 4th in my age group. The 3rd place girl was only 5 seconds in front of me. I am sure I actually beat her by quite a bit according to my chip time, but the chips failed apparently, so they only had our time from when the cannon went off. I ran a 1:40:22 according to when the cannon went off. I feel like I need to run another one just to see what I can really run! Plus, now I know how to pace a little better. I really enjoyed racing a half marathon. (I didn't get a single picture of my race . . . I am a little sad I don't have the proof:) )
Dave on the other hand is using all the TIME he has. He gets about 2-4 hours of sleep a night. I tend to go to bed around 12 or 1 and he gets up around 3-4. We aren't together very often needless to say. He has a couple of leads for jobs. Pray that things will work out. He is a hard worker and deserves the chance to show his smarts and skills with a great company this summer.

Jamie that time is really amazing! I really do bet you took second place seeing that the chips failed. That is so dumb! P.S. I'll have to talk to you in person about how I felt about my photography class.
