Conference weekend is always filled with alot of family and fun. We stayed up at Dave's parents for Saturday night (although Dave was sick and couldn't enjoy much!) A priesthood blessing from his Dad helped him to recover by Sunday. Dave's parents always treat us so well and feed us even better!
We went to my parents house on Sunday where everyone had a great dinner
(except we were missing Carly and Doug). It was so fun to have Jackson and Dayton together. They make a very cute pair. It will be fun to watch them grow up together.
Although I felt several specific things I need to work on as I listened to conference, my overall feeling was that of thankfulness. The gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ help us to find meaning in our life and happiness and love beyond measure. I am so thankful for prophets and apostles that sacrifice their life to teach and lead us. I can think of many other things 80 year old men would rather do than lead a church! I am so thankful for a Savior. Especially this Easter time as we contemplate his sacrifice in our behalf, may we will lives that show we know and believe in him.
