Beautiful Everyday moments

This afternoon I was sitting in gorgeous 80 degree weather in our backyard.  Jackson was playing a game he invented and Hallie was toddling all over.  Jackson decided to call me on the 'phone' as I sat in our hammock chair.  With our hands up to our ears, we talked all about what he was doing.  Hallie walked over and stared at his hand for quite a while (I assume she was looking for a phone to try and take away).  When she realized we were pretending, she proceeded to hold her hand up to her ear for the next 5-10 minutes while toddling around.  It brought a smile to my face.  I love these kids!  They light up my life.  I love watching them learn and grow and discover life.  It is fascinating!

How couldn't you love this mug?

What do you want?!?

Oh!  The camera is on?  We'll I can be silly!

We were able to go to the Phoenix Children't museum yesterday.  It was amazing!  Of course, Jackson was most smitten with the pizza kitchen/restaurant.  I keep thinking he'll grow out of the phase of loving the kitchen, but he is still enjoying pretending to cook.

Hallie was cautious and a bit more nervous about the new situation, but she still enjoyed so much of the museum.  We will definitely be visiting again!

so grown up!

The grocery store . . . all the food was real packages.

Hallie is imitating and mimicking our every move lately.  She is learning signs and words so quickly! (Jackson took these shots!)

 Love that pointer!

Her hair is a little out of control, I'm not really sure how to deal with girls hair . . . just wait out the 'awkward stage'?  Her 'bangs' start at the back of her head!

I have to agree; they're both as cute as a button. And such beautiful blue eyes.

As far as hair goes, you know those clips that snap into place as you bend them? I discovered some at the dollar store that are pretty tight. If I part my girls' hair in the morning and pull it to the side and fasten it with these clips, it stays put, they can't really feel that it's there and they actually like not having their hair in their face.

Good Luck!
